TrianecT is a growing startup that uses brain activity measurements (EEG) to detect treatable stroke patients in ambulances. With a focus on improving disease outcomes and reducing the burden on society, we strive to guide patients directly to their best treatment. Our innovative solution saves time and emphasizes the importance of time in treating stroke patients. We are located in Utrecht and are committed to making a positive impact for patients and society. In the past year we have successfully applied for 3 EU grants (IHI, HORIZON Europe, ITEA4), and an NWO Take-Off 2 loan. We are in the process of closing our pre-seed investment round to become ISO13485 certified and obtain CE for our first device.
Role Description
We are looking for a senior executive (female/male) responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy. Your primary focus is on business development, stakeholder management, finding the right marketing and distribution partners and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the CEO to shape TrianecT for commercial success with social impact and to plan and secure our Series A funding round.
1. Commercial Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy to drive growth.
- Continuously evaluate the value proposition in different markets and secure commitment from future customers
- Manage and optimize the company’s sales channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and distributors.
2. Market intelligence & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including geographic expansion, product diversification, and strategic partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in acute stroke care, competitive landscape, and market conditions to anticipate and adapt to changes.
3. Marketing & Branding:
- Develop initial marketing plan
- Define the customer profiles and target ideal early phase customer profiles
- Execute and collaborate with colleagues on marketing to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Ensure that the company’s marketing efforts effectively support sales and business development goals.
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial female/ male
- Ample experience as commercial director or business developer in a startup. Specific experience in the MedTech, ambulance or acute care field is a plus
- Strategic thinker
